Bamrung Sailing and Paramotor Centre-
Different types of aquatic sports are available and instructions are also offered for windsurfing, sailing, paramotors, para-gliders by course or by the hour. Certificates are conferred upon completion of the course by the Royal Yacht Association (RYC), a renowned British Institution. Restaurant facilities are offered and boats such as canoes, catamarans and kayaks are available for rent. The atmosphere of the reservoir is relaxing and cool. Between the months of November and February thousands of teals, swallows, and herons migrate to this area.
Khao Kheo Country Club-
The first 18 holes here have been designed as a stadium championship course and the second 18 holes as a resort course. Both are surrounded by hills. When the wind blows, players need to plan their shots on account of the numerous bunkers surrounding the greens and large ponds surrounding the fairways. Signature hole seventeen is a very challenging par three where the tee shot must be hit to an island green. Clubhouse facilities are extensive and there is a sports complex, in addition to a swimming pool and tennis courts.
Laem Chabang International-
This championship course designed by Jack Nicklaus is undoubtedly one of the finest golf courses in Thailand. The three nines comprising the 27-hole layout-'Mountain', 'Lake' and 'Creek' offer interesting variations in terrain. The rolling hills of the surrounding countryside have been used to effect, and the exposed rock formations add to the beauty of the fairways. Lakes, ponds and creeks pose a major threat to stray shots and some of the water carries are very challenging. The large, undulating greens are mostly elevated and protected by wide bunkers.
The Most Popular Floating Market-
The Damnoen Saduak Floating Market is located at Damnoen Saduak District, Ratchaburi Province, about 105 kms from Bangkok. According to history around 1866 King Rama IV ordered that a 32 kms long canal be dug at Damnoen Saduak. This canal would connect the Mae Klong River with the Tacheen River.
The Damnoen Saduak Floating Market is a very attractive place for tourists to see the old style and traditional way of selling and buying fruits, vegetables, etc., from small boats. Tourists will also see traditional Thai houses, the
way they live and travel by boats, and please try riding on a small boat to experience the floating market and to see more. This is a worthwhile trip.
